This folder contains several AppleScripts™ that can be used to control the behavior of the Retrospect Remote™ control panel. They are useful for automating network backups.
In order to use these scripts you must have AppleScript and Retrospect Remote 3.0 or later installed. You must also have the "Remote Scripting Addition" file that comes with Retrospect Remote installed in your "Scripting Additions" folder.
A typical use for these scripts would be to create a "Backup On" event in the PowerKey Editor that turns the computer on at the appropriate backup time and then executes the "RetroWait On" script and then shuts the system down. This will result in the system being left at the Retrospect wait screen and it will finish shutting down when the backup is complete. You can then make any other events that turn your system on execute the "RetroWait off" script so that when you shutdown your computer during normal use it does not stop at the Retrospect wait screen.
